October’s competitions: padel and elephant ball
CampusSport organises several competitions during the academic year. October’s competitions are padel and elephant ball. Enrolment to these competitions is now open.
There is a separate fee for each competition. You do not have to pay CampusSport’s sports fee in order to participate. Anyone can put a team together, as long as you are a student or a staff member in one of the universities in Turku. You can for example ask fellow students to join your team and participate in the competitions. More information about the competitions is available on the page Competitions.

Padel
Time: On weekdays between 11am and 3pm starting from 14 October 2024. Estimated length of the competition is 1 week.
Location: 40-0 Padel Center (Itäniityntie 16b, 21280 Raisio)
Additional information: Rackets can be borrowed from the sports hall. There are traditional men’s, women’s and mixed series as well as personnel series. In addition, there are Americano style men’s and women’s series. In Americano the partner changes after each game. The rules are the same as in traditional padel but the points are counted differently: each player passes four balls in a row and each ball that wins gives a point. The game ends when the amount of points decided before the match is reached. CampusSport Cup racket sport.
Participation fee: 12 € / team (2 people) / series or 9 € / participant (Americano)
Last day to enrol: 29 September 2024
Elephant ball (Nosrufutis)
Time: Between 21 October and 25 October 2024 between 9am and 4pm. Estimated length of the competition is 1-2 days.
Location: In football fields in Turku
Additional information: 10-20 minutes gametime / game depending on the amount of the games. 7 players on the field. No goalkeepers. There is an amateur, a competition and a personnel series in the competition. A CampusSport Cup team sport.
Participation fee: 71 € / team
